Loyola Marketing made it out to the 6th annual IC Plunge to document the “icey” plunge into Lake Michigan. This event was not only advertised on campus but also in places such as the Chicago Reader. Why, might you ask, did so many people run into the freezing cold lake during the first
weekend of December? Watch this short video clip to see what the event was all about!

Volume 2: Changing Education and Relief highlights Invisible Conflicts / Dwon Madiki Partnership and other “new humanitarians”. Chapter 9 is written by original IC members (Evan Ledyard, Nathan Mustain, Amy Nemeth, Katie Scrantom, Morgan Smith, David Thatcher, Carolyn Ziembo, and Diana Zurawski). They explain the personal stories of those who created this Loyola University Chicago student organization, a history of the conflict in Northern Uganda, and an inside look at the creation of the partnership.
The Dwon Madiki Partnership was featured in the “WBEZ Global Activism Series” Listen to the interview with original founder and Loyola graduate, Katie Scrantom. Invisible Conflicts is annually invited to the Global Activism Expo to raise awareness about the Dwon Madiki Partnership!
